Her path began in childhood, imagining her mother’s simple home filled with light, warmth, and harmony. Years later, after emigrating to the United States, she redesigned her parents’ house and watched that vision come to life—an experience that affirmed her calling and led to the founding of LEVA Design. Today, she’s known for kitchens and baths, where intimate, everyday moments unfold, and for practical, budget-aware solutions that never sacrifice elegance.

As CEO & Creative Director of LEVA Design—a family-run studio serving Washington, DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia—Lufan pairs precise planning with a human touch: transparent estimates, clear timelines, and steady guidance from first consult to final styling. Her signature is the power of lighting and finish details to elevate the ordinary into the unforgettable. She believes home is the center of life—“By wisdom a house is built” (Proverbs 24:3)—and she brings that conviction to every project.

Lufan lives in Virginia with her husband. She is the proud mother of three; her eldest works alongside her as a business partner and trusted right hand, bringing heart, continuity, and family values to every project.
